Actor Patrick Doyle on Tuesday took to social media to express his gratitude to God for his wife Oluwafunmilayo as she clocks a year older.
Patrick said in a post on Facebook titled ‘Catalogue of Gratitude Volume 4’ that Oluwafunmilayo has given him nothing but joy since she came into his life.
He added that he has never been happier in all his life.
“This is Olufunmilayo, her name literally translates as ‘God has given me joy’. The truth is she is indeed the joy of my life courtesy of the Most High.
“I have never been happier in all my life and I have God to thank for bringing this angel into my life. Happy birthday to my gift from above,” he said.
The actor’s wife also celebrated herself in a post on Instagram.
“Happy birthday to Mrs Doyle 🎂🎉❤️ #birthdaygirl #blessed,” she wrote.

Patrick and Olufunmilayo got married on her birthday on August 22, 2022 at the marriage registry in Surulere Local Government Area of Lagos State. This is the first anniversary of their wedding.
The 62-year-old unveiled his new wife Oluwafunmilayo in a Facebook post to commemorate Mothering Sunday on March 20, 2023.
He listed his late mother Angela Doyle, late elder sisters Victoria Doyle and Ayodeji Alakija and late wife Rosamond Doyle as four women who have been mothers to him.
Adding his new wife to the list, he wrote “I have never been happier in all my life. Please join me in thanking God for my new mother, friend & partner for life Oluwafunmilayo.”
He did not include former wife Ireti Doyle on the list of women who have played maternal roles in his life.
Patrick’s first wife Rosamond died of sickle cell anaemia in 1999. Their son Raymond died in 2009.
