Social media platform X has been awash with debates from supporters and critics of minister of art, culture and creative economy Hannatu Musawa.
The new minister is a serving corps member, according to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Civil society organisation, the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), first raised the observation that Musawa had yet to complete her one-year mandatory service.
Rights lawyer Femi Falana has been quoted as saying that Musawa has no business with being a minister since she is still serving the nation through the NYSC.
