An official statement has been released concerning the death of singer Ireoluwa Aloba aka Mohbad.
The statement was released on the late 27-year-old’s Instagram account on Tuesday, confirming his death and asking that the privacy of the family be respected.
“It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Promise Oladimeji Aloba PK/A Mohbad (Imole) today, the 12th of September, 2023…
“…The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time. Imole is finally at peace,” the statement read.

Mohbad was confirmed dead on Tuesday.
He was nominated for Best Street Hip-Hop Artiste at the recently concluded 16th Headies awards for his song ‘Peace’.
