Actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh on Thursday paid a visit to Ebony Vaults in the Ikoyi area of Lagos in preparation for a “befitting” burial for the late singer Mohbad.
The duo shared videos of their visit on Instagram.
In a video, Iyabo said Tonto paid for the casket but in her caption she said the chief executive officer of Ebony Vaults Dehinde Harrison gave them some of the burial items, including a casket, for free.
“A visit to EBONY VAULT IKOYI in preparation for General MOHBAD’s befitting burial…The Ceo of @ebonyfuneralng gave us a free casket, a free hall, a huge discount for the vault, a free pall bearers, a free horns men, 2 fresh wreaths, 2 wreath bearers, a horse carriage. Thanks to my sister @tontolet,” she wrote.
Iyabo and Tonto said they would not stop fighting for justice for the musician who died under controversial circumstances.

Iyabo and Tonto have been at the forefront of entertainers speaking up for the late Mohbad.
The ‘Ask About Me’ singer died on Tuesday, September 12, leaving behind his wife, five-month-old son and parents.
He was hurriedly buried the following day in a casket which many said was unbefitting of his social status.
But Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, said he buried his son quickly because it is customary not to delay burial if both parents are still alive.
“In Yoruba land, his corpse is not the kind to be kept when both of his parents are still alive.
“That land where Mohbad was buried is his only land, that is the only land I know him to have owned,” he said.
The singer’s corpse was exhumed on Thursday, September 21 at Ikorodu, Lagos for an autopsy.
