A woman Greatness Olorunfemi has died in Abuja after she was robbed by a syndicate locally known as One Chance on September 28.
Olorunfemi was a community developer and member of the Young African Leaders Initiative Network (YALI). She was reportedly pushed out of a moving vehicle by the syndicate.
It was gathered that Olorunfemi was taken to Maitama General Hospital which allegedly requested police report before treating her.
A video of her body in a vehicle parked at the entrance of the locked emergency unit has been shared multiple times on social media.
Members of the public have reacted to the incident with outrage on social media.
Speaking on the matter, YALI Network Abuja coordinator Moyosoluwa Oladayo said they called on the FCT minister Nyesom Wike and security agencies to thoroughly investigate and ensure that the culprits face the full force of the law.

She said, “There’s a viral video of her when she was thrown out of the vehicle. She was unconscious and was reportedly taken to Maitama General Hospital where they kept asking for a police report till she gave up 20 minutes later.”
Oladayo said YALI Network will partner with the police to probe the Maitama General Hospital for violating the National Health Act of 2014, which prohibits refusal of emergency medical treatment for any reason.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Abuja branch, where the deceased was a member, also condemned the manner of her death and called for investigation.
According to a statement by the organisation, the deceased was the assistant secretary and public relations officer of CIPM Abuja branch.
The case, which was reported at the Mabushi Police Station, has already been taken over by the FCT commissioner of police for proper investigation.
It was gathered that the police had summoned the medical personnel on duty on the night she was brought in for questioning.
