Singer Davido has responded to the allegation made by former Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick that he was absent from a show in Warri after being paid $94,600.
The 30-year-old responded on Saturday through a series of posts on X (formerly known as Twitter), referring to Pinnick as one throwing stones yet living in a glass house.
“Throwing stones but u Dey live for glass house,” he wrote.
In another post, he stated that no one can stop him from performing anywhere in Nigeria, hinting at a performance in Warri.
“NOBODY CAN STOP ME FROM PERFORMING-ANYWHERE IN NIGERIA … WARRI I WILL SEE YOU SOON . ❤️,” he wrote.
In a third post, Davido posted a picture of the NFF’s logo, adding in Pidgin English, “make I no talk.”

In a viral video, Pinnick accused the Afrobeat singer of not coming for a show in Warri scheduled for October 6, 2023 after being paid and his flight arranged.
“We paid Davido $94,600 on the 6th of April. We paid $18,000 for his plane,” he said.
