American filmmaker and rapper, Curtis Jackson, also known as 50 Cent, on Tuesday, October 3 hinted at the possibility of holding another concert in Nigeria.
According to the 48-year-old, his Final Lap Tour might take place in Nigeria.
“The Final Lap tour has to go to Nigeria before it ends. LOL,” he wrote on Instagram.
Some media reports subsequently claimed that this would be 50 Cent’s second concert in Nigeria after 19 years.
50 Cent is currently on tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his hit album Get Rich or Die Tryin.
While it is not confirmed if the rapper is really coming to Nigeria as teased, QEDNG can report that it is not 19 years since he last visited the country.
In 2004, 50 Cent held his first performance in Nigeria at the Star Mega Jams concert. His visit was, however, met with controversies after he fell out with Nigerian rapper Eedris Adbulkareem over a deal.
While the Star Mega Jams issue with Eedris happened on December 4, 2004, 50 Cent returned to Nigeria again for the KORA Awards in 2009. Their long-standing feud ended after Eedris apologised to the Power Book producer at the event.

In January last year, Eedris claimed entertainer Charly Boy collected N70 million from the Nigerian Breweries to blackmail him, adding that the latter also got evidence of an attack by 50 Cent and his crew from DJ Tee.
“Shut up! you collected 70 million from Nigerian Breweries to blackmail me. You also collected the evidence of the attack by 50 Cent and G-Unit from DJ Tee, who recorded everything that happened in the plane on that fateful day.
“DJ Tee was arrested by the Nigerian police to shut him up and then he relocated to the US. Nigerian artists; the likes of PSquare, KC Presh, Emoney were chased out of backstage with koboko by the same organizers that you conspired with So, shut the fvck up! you are a betrayal and a fake activist,” he wrote on Instagram.
Eedris’ outburst came after Charly Boy called him out for not appreciating the role he played as mediator in his clash with the American rapper.
