General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye has sent a special message to the nation of Israel as the country battles Palestinian militant group Hamas in Gaza.
The war began last week after Hamas launched surprise attacks on Israelis, killing about 900 persons.
Since then, the Israeli military has responded with airstrikes and ground fights.
In a message shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Adeboye said RCCG members all over the world were praying for peace in Israel.
“I want you to know that I am praying for you, that all members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God all over the world are standing by you at this very critical moment. The Almighty God, the Holy One of Israel, will give you absolute victory and give you permanent peace from now on,” he said.

Adeboye prayed that this would be the end of wars in Israel.
His post was captioned, “It is my prayer for all our brethren in Israel that the Almighty will grant you absolute peace from now on in Jesus name.”
