Big Brother Naija reality star turned actress Dorathy Bachor has briefly commented on the character she played in filmmaker Kunle Afolayan’s Netflix hit Ijogbon.
Ijogbon premiered at the Imax Cinema in Lagos on Thursday, October 12 with the likes of Sola Sobowale, Femi Adebayo, Tunde Kelani, Ruby Akubueze, Funky Mallam, Aisha Lawal, Tana Adelana and Dorathy in attendance.
On Tuesday, Dorathy who plays Bisi, lover of Kasali, played by Gabriel Afolayan and mistress of Chief Owonifaari played by Yemi Solade, shared a scene from the movie where her character was having difficulties communicating in Yoruba.
The scene was first posted by a fan who reacted by saying, “How you dey speak Yoruba, I didn’t understand.”
Responding to the comment, Dorathy playfully said she is Yoruba by association.

“If I had a dollar for every time I’ve answered this question since Ijogbon dropped. I am Yoruba by association,” she wrote.
The 25-year-old has also been featured in movies The Brotherhood and The Order of Things. She was a contestant on the Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition.
