Actor and activist Mr Macaroni has led a successful protest to mark the third anniversary of the #ENDSARS protest despite interference by the police.
The police had on Thursday night issued a warning that any form of gathering at the tollgate in the Lekki area of Lagos would not be tolerated.
The warning was issued at about the same time when rapper Falz and Mr Macaroni announced they would be staging a peace walk on Friday to commemorate the anniversary.
However, the peaceful walk was held despite interference by the police.

In a video posted on Instagram, Mr Macaroni could be seen with other youths, appealing to the policemen stationed at the tollgate.
“No need to fight, relax, we have cooperated with you, we are on the side of the road so we are not disturbing anybody. We also don’t want obstruction of any violence. As you can see we are not much, so there is nothing we can do,” the 30-year-old told the uniformed men.
