Former minister of aviation Hadi Sirika has announced the death of his stepmother Hajiya Amina.
Mr Sirika said in an X post on Monday that his stepmother was neat and industrious.
The ex-minister added that life would never be the same without her.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. I lost my stepmother, Hajiya Amina (Amarya). Industrious, neat, forthright and dutiful. She mothered us so well and was never shy to steer us aright. Life will never be the same without you Baba. May Allah grant you Jannatul Firdaus. Sai mun so,” he wrote.
Aviation minister Sirika loses chief of staff
In February 2021, Sirika lost his chief of staff Ibrahim Idris.
In a short tribute, Sirika described Idris as a “honest, trustworthy, simple, warm godly” man.
“You lived to define how best to relate with people and serve Allah without show. May Allah the Merciful grant you Firdaus and grant us same when we come,” the former minister wrote on X.
