Comedienne and child activist Princess has said she is more excited about the sentencing of the medical director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation Dr Femi Olaleye than she was about actor Baba Ijesha.
Olaleye was sentenced to life imprisonment for defiling his wife’s 15-year-old niece. The doctor was found guilty of the offence of defilement and sexual penetration by a Special Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja, Lagos on Tuesday.
Baba Ijesha on the other hand was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl by an Ikeja Special Offences Court on Thursday, July 14, 2022.
The minor is the foster daughter of Princess.

In an interview with the ladies of Your View breakfast show on Wednesday, Princess whose real name is Damilola Adekoya said she was not this happy when she got justice during Baba Ijesha’s case because she felt cheated and the system had let her down.
She said: “With everything that happened with the case and obviously as you know with the Baba Ijesha case I didn’t have much faith in the justice system.
“So I had just made up my mind that even if they sentence him to just two years, five years, ten years, to God be the glory. As usual, the evidence was just overwhelming and I would tell you the truth, I wasn’t even this happy when we got justice during Baba Ijesha’s case, I felt cheated, I felt that the system had really let me down and the chain of evidence everything was distorted, that yesterday I was just extremely happy.”
