Media mogul Dele Momodu has paid tributes to the late chairman of DAAR Communications Raymond Dokpesi on his first posthumous birthday.
Dokpesi, whose company owns Africa Independent Television (AIT) and RayPower FM, died on May 29, 2023 at the age of 71, weeks after reportedly suffering a stroke.
He would have been 72 on Wednesday, October 25.
In his honour, Mr Momodu wrote on Instagram: “My Great Egbon, HIGH CHIEF RAYMOND ALEOGHO DOKPESI would have been 72 today but GOD knows best… May your brilliant soul continue to rest in peace Sir.”

The late Dokpesi was a member of the defunct Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign council for the 2023 poll.
He was buried on June 22 in his home town of Agenebode, Edo State.
Dokepsi was laid to rest in the presence of his family, friends, political associates and well-wishers.
A requiem mass was held before the interment at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Agenebode.
Among those who witnessed the interment were Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Momodu.
