Senator Ben Murray-Bruce on Wednesday attended the 58th birthday party of Nigeria’s former first lady Patience Jonathan.
Murray-Bruce shared photos of the party on social media, describing Mrs Jonathan as “mother at heart”.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan is seen in one of the photos standing beside the celebrant for photos.
“I am currently attending the 58th birthday celebration of Dame Patience Jonathan, our esteemed former First Lady and mother at heart,” Murray-Bruce captioned his post.

Jonathan and Murray-Bruce are both natives of Bayelsa State.
While Jonathan was deputy governor of oil-rich Bayelsa from 1999 to 2005 and governor from 2005 to 2007, Murray-Bruce represented Bayelsa East in the Senate from 2015 to 2019.
