Veteran actor Mama Rainbow has joined Sharon Ooja and Bimbo Akintola for Kunle Afolayan’s next Netflix film.
The actress whose real name is Idowu Philips recently posted a photo of herself and Sharon on Instagram.
“On set with an amazing actor doing what we love most @sharonooja oko mi ni oludari @kunleafo,” she captioned the post.
Sharon also reposted the video on her Instagram with the caption: “Been on set filming a secret project one of the most amazing stories I’ve done in a long time, so intriguing, touching and one that has pushed me..and this is my mother in law the amazing @mamarainbowofficial such a legend Director extraordinary @kunleafo we making magic yall something huge is coming.”
Kunle revealed the cast in an Instagram post on October 31, adding that the upcoming project will serve “As the third instalment this year, following the captivating “IJOGBON” and the epic “ANIKULAPO SERIES: Rise of The Specter.”

Haitian actor Jimmy Jean-Louis will also be joining the cast after featuring in the Kunle-directed film The CEO and Citation.
The 49-year-old also revealed that “ANIKULAPO SERIES: Rise of The Specter” is currently in post-production, and we’re pouring our heart and soul into crafting intriguing films that stand the test of time.
