Children of the late founding pastor of Fountain of Life Church in Lagos Taiwo Odukoya on Thursday paid tributes to their late stepmother Nomthi on the second anniversary of her death.
Nomthi died on November 9, 2021, following a two-year battle with cancer.
Odukoya wedded Nomthi, a South African, in January 2010, five years after his first wife Pastor Bimbo Odukoya died on December 11, 2005 from injuries sustained in a plane crash the previous day.
Remembering her, Odukoya’s son Jimmy, the church’s senior pastor, quoted Romans 8:38-39 on Instagram.
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord,” the Bible passage read.

He added, “Today our hearts are flooded with loving and beautiful memories of our dear Pastor Nomthi Odukoya – @pastornomthi.
“Her grace and love continues to inspire us two years after her transition. She will always hold a cherished place in our hearts.”
Odukoya’s first daughter Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun, who is now the church’s associate senior pastor, shared a photo of herself and Nomthi on Instagram.
“Aunt Noms, it’s been two years without you. We miss you! Forever in our hearts,” she wrote.
