Sonia Adesuwa, estranged wife of Nigeria international Odion Ighalo, has alleged that the footballer’s mother is “disgracing” her on social media.
Sonia and Ighalo got married in 2009. They have three children. But the couple has been apart for several years, throwing jibes at each other on social media.
In an Instagram story post on Monday, Sonia asked Ighalo mot to bring their three children into their fight.
“Did you see what your mum is doing she’s disgracing me on social media. Bruh leave our kids out of this. You humiliated me to the whole world. Deal with it, man. We haven’t even started yet..una go pay PR tire,” she wrote.

Sonia attacked those she claimed were “paid commentators,” adding that they should not comment on things they have no idea about.
She also alleged that Ighalo was deceiving his social media followers by appearing to be unbothered that they were not together.
“Keep deceiving your gullible followers. Person wey de cry few days ago,” she wrote, when Ighalo laughed about a comment by one social media user who said he would be a “mumu billionaire” if he returned to Sonia.
In an earlier post, Sonia wrote: “When a narcissist realizes you aren’t coming back – the panic sets in. Sorry Not Sorry Bro.”
She also wrote: “The obsession is real. May we not bear the consequences of the wrongs our Mothers may have committed against others. #I told them.”
