Stella Maris, wife of ailing actor John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu, has broken down in tears over the multiple allegations against her by her husband’s adopted daughter Jasmine Okafor and others.
Self-acclaimed actor Uche Maduagwu posted a video of Stella crying at the hospital reception where her husband is currently receiving treatment.
In the video shared via Instagram on Wednesday, Uche could be heard consoling the woman who tried to hide the tears flowing down her cheeks.
“It’s okay, don’t cry God will bless you for everything you are doing for Mr Ibu, it’s okay, don’t cry madam okay, God will see you through, everything they said about you. Look at where she sleeps, waiting and taking care of her husband and people are online saying all manner of things,” Uche said as the woman continued crying.
Duering her interview with Uche, Stella claimed she was manipulated to say that the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) did not help her husband.
“I need to apologise to AGN people. My people, I am so sorry about all those things, I was manipulated to say all those things. Yes, I was manipulated because I know when Kate Henshaw came, we were all in the ICU,” Stella Maris said in parts.
Stella Maris also made a post accusing Jasmine of denying her access to the funds donated for her husband’s surgery. She further claimed Jazmine and her stepson Daniel secretly got married and are planning to relocate abroad.
The woman made the allegations while responding to self-acclaimed activist Verydarkman’s allegations that she accused Jasmine of highjacking money meant for Ibu’s surgery because she wanted to buy a brand-new iPhone, a car and undergo butt enlargement.
Mr Ibu’s health struggles made the news in October when a video of the actor soliciting for help was released on his official page.
