It will forever be an unforgettable Sunday night for comedian Gbenga Adeyinka as notable entertainers and personalities from all over Nigeria gathered at the Balmoral Convention Centre Fesderal Palace Hotel in Lagos for the 2023 edition of Laffmattazz.
The event was filled with excitement and lots of entertaining moments with performances from different comedians and music artistes including cultural displays.
The Orange Carpet kicked off at about 4 pm, with several guests storming the event, rocking gorgeous outfits.
Comedians like Wisdom Dami, Prince Phelar, Stylo, Benjy Da Joke, Matins Profit, Mc Layor, Mecoyo Da Comic, ATM, Goroso Ekiti and Destalker got the crowd laughing with their hilarious jokes.
Guests at the event also got to enjoy the melodious voice of Lagbaja’s former backup singer Ego Iheanacho who sang one of their biggest hits ‘Wherever You Go’.
Music legend 2Baba as usual got a standing ovation as he thrilled guests with hits like ‘Implication’ and ‘Ifeneme’.
Others who performed include Country music artiste The Country Man, Ashny and veteran singer Ruggedman.
Ggbenja the host of the event was not left out in the fun as he gave his guests a taste of his rap skills with an impressive freestyle before proving why he is actually called the Grand Comedian of Nigeria.
Ggbenja also celebrated entertainment producer Bunmi Davies and his wife on stage with a cake to mark their 17th wedding anniversary.
Some guests also got lucky as they benefitted from the giveaway by one of the sponsors of the show.
Others who attended the event are comedians Ali Baba and Kofi, music executive Kenny Ogungbe, billionaire businessman Razaq Okoya and his wife Shade, actor Yomi Fash-Lanso and renowned journalist and editor Olumide Iyanda.
