Ex-Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo on Friday celebrated the sixth anniversary of his charity organisation, Ighalo Orphanage Home.
The non-profit organisation is located in the Ijegun area of Lagos.
Commenting on the milestone, the former Manchester United star wrote on social media, “It has truly been God sustaining us, it was a dream and god helped me to accomplish that dream. I return all the glory to God. It is a thing of immense joy to celebrate the 6th year anniversary today.”

Ighalo, 34, also thanked the board of trustees and the staff of the orphanage.
“I’m grateful to God for how far he has brought us and where he is still taking us to. I want to appreciate members of my board of trustees and all of my indefatigable staffs, caregivers and volunteers who work tirelessly every day to keep the orphanage home in good condition,” he wrote.
“To all the donors, volunteers, caregivers and everyone who will be celebrating with us today, May things of joy never depart from your household. Happy Anniversary to @ighalo_orphanage_home,” Ighalo added.
