Grammy nominee Davido has revealed why he keeps supporting his colleague Wizkid despite disapproval from some of his fans.
Although Davido and Wizkid seem to be cordial, their fans, however, have been at loggerheads on multiple occasions, arguing and sometimes fighting about which artiste is more successful.
On Tuesday Davido made a post on X to promote Wizkid’s new single set to drop on Friday.
“New Wiz Friday!!! Wtf!! Replay all weekend,” he wrote.
Some fans who disapproved of the singer’s support for his colleague made their disappointment known to him but Davido in his response, berated them, saying that he wants peace to reign.
“Davido u dey gba fr,” a fan identified as DaddyZee02 wrote.

Reacting to the tweet, the ‘Aye’ singer noted that he is now 31 and all he wants is peace.
“Your father dey gba. Nah you know, I’m 31 years old, I want peace,” Davido replied.
Another fan who disapproved wrote: “This man lowkey dey make stanship hard person o. Wooo make I go back to my simping and bombing jare.”
“F*ck off then You are not a fan,” Davido fired back.
Davido and Wizkid got fans in high spirits after a video of them hanging out together at a club over the weekend went viral.
The video quickly garnered attention from fans and music enthusiasts alike, with many expressing their excitement and admiration for the two singers coming together.
