Spokesman of the Nigeria Police Force Olumuyiwa Adejobi has said that the policeman who joined in picking money thrown in the air by musician Shallipopi would not be dismissed.
This comes after a video of Shallipopi throwing money in the air while surrounded by fans at the Benin airport in Edo State went viral.
Several persons on social media lashed out at the Police Force over the policeman’s conduct.

Others called for his sack, noting that his action was demeaning.
However, reacting to the backlash, Adejobi said on Friday that the policeman would only be lectured not to engage in such act.
“We won’t dismiss a policeman for picking such money, we can only lecture him not to do so again, as such relegates him,” the police spokesman wrote on Instagram.
