Yomi Fash-Lanso pens tribute to Olofa Ina

Actor Yomi Fash-Lanso has penned down a short tribute to his late colleague Olofa Ina.

The actor’s colleague Saidi Balogun announced his passing in an Instagram post on Thursday.

“Good Night Legend Chief Deji Akinremi (Olofa Ina) RIP,” he wrote.

In his tribute to the deceased, Yomi described Olofa as a citadel of culture and tradition, adding that the vacuum he created will be hard to fill.

He wrote: “Citadel of culture and tradition is GONE. Another library light of customs, traditions, and knowledge DIMMED.

“The vacuum you’ve created will be hard to fill, bàbà yooba, as you’re fondly called. You Truly Gave Your All Sir.

“Rest In Peace Amongst Your Ancestors Oloye Adedeji Aderemi ( Olofa Ina ).”

Like Yomi, veteran actor Jide Kosoko in his tribute, said that the vacuum Olofa left will be difficult to fill.

“At last, olofa fire is gone. You fought back but God knows best. Ha baba yoruba is gone. No doubt the vacuum you left will surely be difficult to fill. Rest on High Chief Deji Aderemi. Sun re o,” he wrote on Instagram.

The actor and filmmaker whose real name is Adedeji Aderemi died at the age of 73.
