Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has lost his father months after his mum’s death.
The 31-year-old broke the news of his father’s death on Monday via social media.
“Still mourning the passing away of my dear mother now my Dad is gone. What is remaining? Wicked world,” Onazi wrote, attaching photos of himself and parents.

Onazi’s mother died in September 2023.
The former Lazio star was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title in 2013. Onazi will not participate in the 2023 AFCON scheduled to begin on January 13.
