Disc jockey Florence Otedola, aka DJ Cuppy, has said that being single and childless in your thirties is terrible.
The 31-year-old said this in a post via X on Wednesday.
“Being a single, childless woman in her 30’s is terrible. All I ever do is exactly what I want all the time,” she wrote with two laughing emojis.
Cuppy went through a breakup with British boxer Ryan Taylor in 2023.
The Oxford University graduate confirmed the break up while speaking at the Wimbiz London conference.
DJ Cuppy also talked about her unsuccessful businesses and her struggles in school.
She said: “There is a power in uncertainty, there is a power in not being sure, and there is also power in failure, even the biggest most successful women, they don’t always do well, they don’t always sell out arenas, they don’t always have best selling books, well actually apart from Oprah, Beyonce. But for us normal women, failure is inevitable, we will always have failure in our personal lives and in our professional lives.
“Now I can stand there and tell you how unpredictable my life has been despite being from a privileged background whether it is my failed jewellery line which I did at 28 years old or going to the University of Oxford at 29 and almost failing class. perhaps the cherry on top, last year I got engaged and I’m no longer engaged.”
