Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has said being 41 has never felt or looked this good.
The Grammy nominee said this in an Instagram post on Thursday as he celebrated his birthday.
Seun Kuti wrote: “41 never looked or felt this good. Thanks to Eledumare and the Orishas for keeping me and renewing my contract for another season. How it begins is always clear it’s the end that we have all come to seek here. In between the beginning and the end there is purpose and inside purpose is where we truly find life.
“Find your mission and purpose and live it to the fullest, run away from those that seek control for they are the evil ones!! Love you all.”
Seun was also celebrated by his brother Femi Kuti and Femi’s ex-wife Funke.
While Femi celebrated Seun on his Instagram account, Funke wished him a happy birthday in the comment section of his post.
“HBD LLNP Seun sending best wishes and love @bigbirdkuti may our Creator continue to guide and protect you always,” the 61-year-old wrote.
“Happy Birthday Ano mi of life!!” Funke wrote in the comment section of Seun’s post.
