Some of the most famous disciples of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet TB Joshua have condemned the BBC documentary which contained several allegations against him.
At some point during his lifetime, Joshua had five men he called wisemen who worked very closely with him. They are Racine Bousso, John Chi, Christopher Orji, Harry, and Daniel Emelandu. Two of his female disciples Prophetesses Yinka and Anne also have large followers.
In a video posted on YouTube on Saturday, Prophetess Yinka said Joshua was a man of integrity. “I lived with Prophet TB Joshua for 26 years until his passing in 2021. I want to say categorically that he is a a true and great servant of the Most High God,” she said.
Yinka admonished Christians not to allow the documentary take them away from the faith, adding that they must watch and pray.
Wiseman Harry held a question-and-answer session with some persons over the documentary. He shared a video of the session on YouTube.
Harry said he spent 10 years at SCOAN. Responding to a question about Joshua meeting female disciples in a room alone, Harry, who heads SCOAN Thessalonica in Greece, said: “There is no way a female disciple would come into the apartment of Prophet TB Joshua alone and we would not know because we (five wisemen) were always there with him.”
Wiseman Christopher released a video on YouTube on Saturday where he described those who made allegations against Joshua in the BBC documentary as “blasphemers” who were paid to lie on the late cleric.
Prophetess Anne had yet to directly respond to the allegations as of press time. However, on Friday, she shared a video on Instagram inviting the public to a programme in Ghana next month.
“Those called by God will march on, no power of slander shall prevail,” she captioned the video.
Another popular disciple of Joshua known as Christopher Tonge aka Brother Chris said in a YouTube video that he spent 17 years at SCOAN and that his “personal experiences do not correlate with any of the allegations in the documentary”.
