Rapper Oladips has blasted comedian Nasty Blaq for making a skit about his fake death controversy.
Nigerians were thrown into a state of mourning on November 15 after Oladips’ management announced that he had died after a two-year personal struggle.
However, fellow rapper and longtime friend of Oladips, Qdot shared a video of the rapper, claiming “he is alive”.
He further said Oladips would return online if his album reached the top of the music charts.
The post sparked allegations that the rapper faked his death to gain music clout but Oladips debunked the allegations.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, he cautioned Nasty Blaq against using his past situation for financial gain after the skit maker made a parody version of the death saga.
Oladips said Nasty Blaq did not check on him when the news of his fake death spread even though they were neighbours but he was quick to shoot a skit about him.
He wrote: “Nastyblaq We Were Neighbours, Me & You Done Siddon Eat For The Same Plate, Siddon Play FIFA Together, Your Car Once Had Issue, That It Was My Car You Took Out!
