Mabel Makun, wife of comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has raised an alarm over alleged threat to her life.
The interior designer raised the alarm in an Instagram post on Thursday in which she said the threat was getting out of hand.
She also hinted that she would report the matter to the police.
“The threat to my life is actually getting out of hand and if anything happens to me, there is just one person to be held responsible. Headed to the police station,” she wrote.
Speaking further in her Instagram story, the mother of two said “Been abused mentally and all round for way too long and I have had enough.”
Mabel’s posts came hours after her husband made a cryptic post on his Instagram story.
The story read “Better to keep silent and let people think you are a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Mabel and AY got married in 2008, the year they had their first child Michelle.
The couple welcomed their son child Ayomide in 2021.
Mabel caused a stir in 2017 when she called out socialite Freda Francis over the latter’s relationship with her husband.
She posted a picture AY and Freda took at a party on Instagram and wrote “This is outright wickedness and I won’t take it! I think have had enough of the ridiculing. Freda Francis, stay away from my family and I mean it!”
