The director general of National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) Shaibu Husseini; managing director of the Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) Ali Nuhu and the director-general, of the Centre for Black and African Arts and Culture (CBAAC) Aisha Augie have met the minister of arts, culture, and the creative economy, Hannatu Musawa after their appointments.
QEDNG on January 12 reported that President Bola Tinubu approved the appointment of 11 new chief executive officers (CEOs) for agencies under the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy.
Also present at the meeting were Biodun Ajiboye, the director-general, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) and Chaliya Shagaya, director-general, National Institute of Archeology and Museums Studies (NIAMS).
Shaibu and Ali Nuhu posted photos from the recent visit on their Instagram accounts with a brief statement.
The new director general promised to reposition the NFVCB for effective service delivery while the minister assured him of her support.

At the end of the briefing where the DG promised to reposition the NFVCB for effective service delivery, the Honourable Minister assured the DG of her support and she promised to collaborate with the DG in realising the shared vision for the Ministry and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Ali Nuhu on his part, said the meeting was a “visionary step towards a culturally enriched future.”
