Tobi Odukoya-Enuha, daughter of the late founding pastor of The Fountain of Life Church Taiwo Odukoya, has narrated how she gave out her wedding dress to someone she did not know.
Mrs Odukoya-Enuha said in an Instagram post on Saturday that she bought the dress five years ago for her wedding but could not wear it because COVID-19 prevented large gatherings.
“I bought this dress 5 years ago for my wedding but a month before the big day COVID happened and our wedding was postponed,” she wrote.
“We ended up having a small wedding later that year. We hoped that we would have a big celebration after COVID, however, life just kept moving after the wedding. We had a baby, moved into our new flat, focused on work and the idea of a second party felt far away. I slowly began to realise I probably was not going to wear the dress.”
Things changed in December 2023 when her sister, now the church’s associate lead pastor Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun, put up an Instagram post asking people to comment on what they were believing God for.
“That was how I met Vivan. I had mentioned in the comments section about this dress I had never worn and asked if anyone was getting married soon. While there were quite a few responses to my comment, Vivan stood out,” she wrote.

Odukoya-Enuha said Vivian had her wedding in January 2024 and the dress “that was custom made for me fit her like it was made just for her.”
Encouraging her Instagram followers, she wrote, “God works in beautiful and miraculous ways. Proverbs 16:9 says that we can make plans for our future, but God chooses the steps we take to get there. Trust Him with your plans, there might just be a caretaker with God’s special gift for you along the way.”
Odukoya-Enuha, a psychologist, got engaged to Oluchi Enuha on December 25, 2018 in London, UK. They got married on September 13, 2020.
