Actor and movie producer Deyemi Okanlawon has begged filmmaker Funke Akindele to tell her fans to watch his soon-to-be-released film All’s Fair in Love.
Deyemi made the appeal in a recent Instagram post, using the character he played in Funke’s Omo Ghetto: The Saga.
The appeal comes after Funke Akindele’s latest film A Tribe Called Judah made over N1 billion in cinema.
“To my darling LEFTY, I know say we fight las las but remember I was there for you when nobody else was there. Abeg help me tell your #1B geng fans to go and watch my dear brother Deyemi’s film. A heartfelt message from FEMI STONE,” he wrote.
The film, produced by Deyemi, will be released in the cinema on February 14.
It features Deyemi, Lateef Adedimeji, Timini Egbuson, Juliet Ibrahim, Beauty Tukura, Venita Akpofure, Kunle Bamtefa, Gbubemi Ejeye, Kenzy Udosen, Oprah Okereke and Timilehin Ojeola.
All’s Fair in Love is the actor’s first project since he announced that he will no longer work as an actor for other filmmakers because he wants to start producing his movies.
