A video of Seyi Law performing at an event has emerged after musician Eedris Abdulkareem claimed the comedian told him that supporting President Bola Tinubu was his biggest mistake.
Eedris said this on the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast.
“I was in an event yesterday and then Seyi Law came up and said that ‘abeg make una no vex oo, everybody don cause me tire, because I stand for Tinubu, say na your mandate I dey, e say I no dey your mandate again oo’, e say make una no vex ooo! Una don curse me tire, he was saying it. We were at the event, na the event I dey come from. If you see am make you ask am.
“I was like ‘Seyi how do you cope now?’ Him say ‘my brother I messed up’, say no be say him collect anything, say him made the biggest mistake, I say how you no go make mistake, you no know person you go dey stand for am, no be person wey you know you go stand for?” Eedris said in the podcast.
Shortly after the podcast went viral, a video of Seyi Law cracking jokes about the 2023 presidential candidates at an event started circulating on social media.
In the video, Seyi Law said supporting Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima does mean he deserves death as he was not paid to campaign for them.
The 40-year-old comedian added that people no longer spray him money at events since Tinubu won the election.
Although Seyi Law did not specifically say that supporting Tinubu is his biggest mistake, he made jokes about being “tired of standing on the mandate and needs to sit now”.
