Writer of the weekly column Pillow Talk at The Nation Newspapers Yetunde Oladeinde has died aged 56.
Former chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) chapel, Muyiwa Lucas broke the news on Monday.
“NUJ The Nation Chapel…We mourn…Yetunde Oladehinde (Grandma) Weekend Desk @ The Nation…Rest in Peace,” he wrote.
Under her death, Oladeinde was in charge of the fashion and flair page; and lifestyle interview page for the weekend desk.
Mourning her, the news editor of The Nation Bunmi Ogunmodede said: “May the Lord grant her eternal rest. Such a quiet woman taken home! The Lord will keep her family.”

Also known as Grandma, Oladeinde previously worked at National Life Newspaper and The Sun Newspaper.
She bagged a bachelor’s degree in English and Literature from the University of Lagos in 1989, and earned a post-graduate diploma from Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ) in 2002.
Oladeinde was a member of organisations such as Business and Women Professional (BPW) Nigeria; Association of Nigerian Women Business Network; and Echoes of Women in Africa (ECOWA).
