Yoruba actress Mama No Network has led a candlelight procession for the late Sisi Quadri.
The actress and several of her colleagues gathered at the Mate Garden Hotel on Tuesday to honour Sisi Quadri whose death came as a shock to the Nigerian movie industry.
In a video she uploaded on her Instagram account on Wednesday, some of the mourners who were dressed in an all-black outfit with a customised polo with Quadri’s face, all came out with their burning candles as they marched from the hotel to other places.
Quadri’s colleagues also sang sorrowful hymes and they continued the walk.
Captioning the video, she wrote: “Candle lights for sisiquadri @sisiquadri May you continue to rest in perfect peace.”
Sisi Quadri died on Friday, March 1 at the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso (LAUTECH) and was buried in his hometown, Agbowo area of Iwo, Osun State, according to Islamic rites.
