Comedian Seyi Law has apologised to fashion stylist Noble Igwe over comments he made on X about the Igbo tribe which Noble may have found “distasteful”.
The apology was tendered on his X account on Monday with photos of the duo together, indicating that they have finally settled their beef.
Seyi Law also apologised to the Igbos as he promised to stay away from their “political and historical perspective”. He also commended Noble for reaching out to his wife Stacey whose name was purportedly mentioned in a tweet by Noble.
He wrote: “I spoke with my brother, Noble Igwe @Nobsdaslushhkid, and he has my utmost respect for his responsibility to his people, and I personally tendered my apology to him for any of my tweets that he found distasteful towards the IGBOS.
“I have since desist from interfering with the IGBOS, their politics and historical perspectives no matter my reservations. For the sake of Noble’s humility and my understanding of his perspective, I tender an UNRESERVED APOLOGY to the IGBOS and will keep away from their politics, history, culture and tradition. I owe him that much for also reaching out to my wife.”

Recall that during an episode of The Honest Punch podcast, Seyi Law threatened to beat Noble unless the latter apologised to Stacey.
According to the 40-year-old, Noble mentioned his wife’s name in a post during the 2023 election and someone in the comment section called Stacey an ‘Osu’ which means outcast in Igbo.
When the clip of Seyi Law’s threat went viral, Noble in his response on X wrote: “While other comedians, your mates are on tour, you are busy moving from podcast to another Seyi Law but then, that’s a tour.”
