Presiding bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel International David Oyedepo has hosted gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa.
Mercy and Blessed shared videos and pictures from the visit on their Instagram accounts on March 19.
Mercy who has been making preparations for her first-ever Easter concert in Lagos thanked the Bishop for his love, prayers and wise counsel.
The mother of one described meeting Oyedepo as an unlimited grace and favour.
She wrote: “Unlimited Grace and Favour. Thank you daddy for the Love, the prayers and wise counsel🙏🙏 As the song implies, our lives can never be the same again.”
On his part, Pastor Blessed stated that sharing an extensive moment with the Bishop was a transformative encounter.
Blessed, a senior pastor at The Waterbrook Church in Lagos, said he will forever relish the moment shared with the clsric.
He thanked David Oyedepo for his love, impartation and priceless wisdom.
With a heart full of gratitude and excitement, Blessed wrote: “I’ll forever relish this moment It was a transformative encounter sharing such an extensive and intense moment with our father @davidoyedepomin
“We love you so much Daddy. Thank you for such love, such impartations and such priceless wisdom Sir. We are so so overwhelmed with gratitude.’
The couple announced the birth of their baby in an Instagram post on October 27 2023 with a music video dedicated to the child.
Mercy Chinwo would unveil her 12-track album titled ‘Overwhelming Victory’, which she recorded while pregnant and would also perform at her concert, themed ‘Overwhelming Joy’ which has been confirmed to be free and open to the public. It is slated to hold on March 29 at Eko Hotels and Suites.
Mercy and Blessed Uzochikwa tied the knot traditionally in Port Harcourt on Friday, August 12, 2022.
The white wedding which was held the next day, was attended by families and friends of the couple including Banky W and Adesua Etomi.
