Veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu has expressed his anger over rumour that his colleague Zack Orji has died, saying that God’s wrath will visit those wishing the ailing movie star dead.
Rumour that the actor has passed on started circulating on the internet on Tuesday, forcing the national president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka to debunk the speculation.
In a video uploaded a recent video on his Facebook account, Chiwetalu Agu urged his followers to disregard the rumour.
He said in parts: “Please i urge each and everyone of you to disregard or shun any post saying that our own veteran actor Zack Orji is late, it is nothing but a rumour and my prayer is that may anybody who has a hand in spreading such rumours face the wrath and anger of God. Amen.”
Zack, 64, slumped on December 29 2023 and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the National Hospital in Abuja, before he was transferred to a private hospital for surgery.
