Chairman and chief executive officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa on Friday lamented the delay in recovering her hacked X account.
The account has been in the control of hackers since June 2023.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa shared a screenshot of the account on Instagram, noting that she was still waiting for the chief executive of X Elon Musk to recover the account with nearly 900,000 followers from hackers.
“Above is my hacked X account. These hackers get liver o. I’m still waiting for Elon Musk to recover the account from them o. Taken months now with my almost 900 thousand followers,” she said.

Dabiri-Erewa was re-appointed for a second term in office just before the end of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
