Three crew members have been reported missing after a boat accident that killed actor Junior Pope.
There was confusion in the late hours of Wednesday over conflicting reports about Junior Pope’s health condition following the tragic incident.
According to reports, four actors including Junior Pope fell into Anam River in Anambra State, on their way to a movie location.
The actor was taken to a hospital where he was confirmed dead after several of his colleagues claimed he was still alive.
However, one of the crew members who went to the movie location in another boat, stated that the bodies of three others had not been found.
Actress Lizzy Gold also confirmed that the crew members are still underwater.
“The battle is not over yet we still have some crew members underneath the water ….Precious …Abigail and Olanti …God is too faithful to fail,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, actress Chinonye Okoli, also known as Okoli Clasic, who rode in another boat made it alive.
She has since debunked rumours of her death.
“Okoli Classic is safe and fine. Thanks to everyone reaching out. She is emotionally traumatised but she will be alright. Thank you for your care,” a post on her Instagram story read.
