A member of Dunamis International Gospel Centre Vera Anyim, who is at the centre of controversy on testimony, has met with the church’s senior pastor Paul Enenche and wife Becky.
Anyim gave a testimony at the church’s headquarters in Abuja on Sunday, noting that God helped her to become the first graduate in her family.
She said she got a bachelor of science degree in law from the National Open University of Nigeria.
Enenche however interrupted her, saying her testimony was a lie. He said lawyers get LLB not B.SC.
His comment was greeted with criticism as it was confirmed that Anyim truly graduated with a law degree from NOUN.

On Monday, the church, in a statement signed by Enenche’s personal assistant Sylvester Edoh, said the senior pastor reacted that way because of her poor handling of basic English. This too attracted criticism.
However, Anyim shared photos and video of her meeting with the clergyman and his wife on Facebook on Monday night, urging the public to end the criticism against the cleric.
“I want to inform the whole world that I just had a warm meeting with my spiritual father and mother dr Paul Enenche and dr Becky Enenche,” she wrote.
“I don’t have any grudge against the church or them. I remain committed to serving God as a member of Dunamis church. I am thankful for the concern of the public.
“I have put the situation at my back and I have moved forward and I want everybody to do the same. Peace.”
