Tara Durotoye, founder of beauty brand House of Tara, has posted a photo on Instagram of her first makeup job.
The bride, Mrs Durotoye wrote on Thursday in her caption, was Bose Fashina (nee Ayinla).
She said the photo was taken almost 26 years ago when she just started out doing makeup commercially.
Durotoye advised her Instagram followers not to despise the days of small beginnings, adding also that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
“Can you believe it? My first makeup job, the bride was Bose Fashina (Nee Ayinla), which was the seed almost 26 years ago that has grown to become a tree @houseoftara_intl that sparked off the chain of other trees that make up the forest called the Makeup Industry in Nigeria,” she wrote.

The fashion icon said she would share some steps that she took in growing her brand.
Durotoye also teased her followers by asking them to guess how old she was at the time the photo was taken.
Set up in 1998, House of Tara has 19 studios currently in at least 11 states in the country.
