Fuji star Saheed Osupa has expressed sadness over the death of gospel musician Morenikeji Adeleke also known as Egbin Orun.
Morenikeji’s colleague Esther Igbekele announced her death in an Instagram post on Saturday night.
Saheed, a friend of the deceased, mourned her on Sunday in a post on Instagram.
The Fuji musician said the news of Morenikeji’s death felt like his heart was ripped out.
“So shocked and deeply saddened by the news of your untimely demise, dear @egbinorunmorenikeji. This is so unfortunate! Again, we lost another big star to the cold hands of death,” Saheed wrote.
“Hearing this terrible news felt like someone ripped my heart out my chest, this hurts me so bad that I can’t bear, oh! Death is so cruel.
“Rest on, Prophetess Adeleke Morenikeji Basirat Egbin Orun.”
The cause of her death was not immediately clear.
