Precious Chikwendu, former lover of the ex-minster of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode, has shut down rumour that they have reconciled.
The rumours circulated in 2023 when the alleged couple attended a dinner party in honour of Benjamin Kalu, the newly-elected Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Ordinarily, it would have been a case of estranged lovers getting invited for the same event, except they sat beside each other and cosied up together.
Also, the former minister under the Obasanjo administration seemingly made a fuss about it when he posted about their outing on his Instagram page.
However, in a now-deleted Instagram story on Tuesday, Precious shut down the speculations, writing, “I refused your fueling the narrative that we are an item.”
She wrote: “This Narc is so pained. I am told I was reported to the President who you claim is coming after me this time for cutting off a toxic manipulator who thinks the world revolves around Aso drive. National issues don finish?
“Just because I refused your fueling the narrative that we are an item. Anyways, this time is different. You can only manipulate the boys for 5 years max. After that, they will be your karma.
“I’m not even fighting anymore. We moveee! The will come looking for me at the right time. Till then, let me be enjoying my vacation that is traumatizing you.”
In 2020, the couple was engaged in a brutal battle that ended in messy media and court battles.
At some point, she was docked in a Federal High Court (FHC), Abuja, for the attempted murder of her ex-husband, following charges of attempted culpable homicide, before Justice Inyang Ekwo.
In 2021, Precious opened up about the nature of her relationship with the ex-minister.
The former beauty queen said that he physically and emotionally abused her when she was pregnant with her first child.
