Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa has condemned the killing of Daniel Anjorin, 14-year-old British-Nigerian who was killed in the sword attack that occurred in North-East London on Tuesday.
Police said Anjorin died from stab wounds shortly after being taken to hospital on Tuesday.
He was the only casualty in the attack that left four other people, including two police officers, injured.
The suspect, 36, was cornered and overpowered with a taser by officers in Thurlow Gardens.
Reacting in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Dabiri-Erewa who mourned the deceased, also prayed that justice will prevail.
“Forever young and full of promise. Rest in peace, Daniel Anjorin. Our hearts ache for the tragic loss of the London based bright 14-year-old soul taken too soon.
“May justice prevail, and may your memory be a beacon of hope and strength for your loved ones. #JusticeForDaniel #GoneTooSoon,” she wrote.
