Ehi Idibia, daughter of singer 2Baba and Pero Adeniyi, has gained admission at the University of Connecticut, USA.
Pero shared the good news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, adding that she is proud of Ehi.
She wrote: “Super proud of you, Ehi! I am confident that you will do exceedingly well. As you start this new chapter, God will go with you, you will not derail his mercy, and grace will forever speak for you. Thank you, Lord. It has been you and will always be you. @ehiidibia.”
The girl’s parents recently celebrated her 18th birthday on Instagram.
“Like play like play my little princess has become a very smart and Beautiful young African Queen 👸Massive birthday blessings Sweetheart. No words, just sincere Gratitude. U will achieve all your hearts desires. May the ALMIGHTY guide and protect u always. U make me so happy. See as u fine like me tho I know say your mama go drag this one,” 2Baba wrote.
On her part, Pero who could not believe her daughter has reached the age of 18, wrote: “18!!!! Lord, it has been and can only be you! Ehikowoicho so proud of the young lady you have become, You have always made me proud, strong, beautiful, and most intelligent.
“Everywhere you go, you shine so bright and always leave a remarkable impression, I am beyond blessed to be called your mother, as you start this next chapter God will be with you, you will not derail, the light and glory you carry shall never be dim, my God will expand your coast and you will fulfill destiny. I love you so so much”.
Pero and 2Baba have three children together.
