The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Saturday remembered Pastor Dare Adeboye, the late son of the church’s general overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on the third anniversary of his death.
Dare died in his sleep on May 4, 2021 in Eket, Akwa Ibom State where he was based with his family. The 42-year-old was the assistant pastor in charge of region (youth) 35 before his death. He was father to three daughters.
The Dare Adeboye Foundation created in his name celebrated him on social media. Dare’s younger brother Leke Adeboye also did on social media.

His passion for youth empowerment, education, and leadership lives on through this foundation that bears his name. His legacy is a testament to the power of faith, hope, and love.

Dare was buried one week after his death following a farewell service at the Youth Centre in the Redemption Camp.
Among those who witnessed the funeral were his wife, Temiloluwa; his siblings; presiding bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo; his wife, Faith; their son, David Oyedepo Jr; Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel; and former Ondo State governor Olusegun Mimiko.
Born June 9, 1978, Dare created avenues for young people to feel empowered and prepare themselves to carry the mantle of the church and its mission and goals.
