Artiste manager and former chairperson of the Lagos State Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP), Eki Faith Eboigbe, is set to lead her Entertainment Bus-Stop Limited, (EBS) to join in the rest of the world to celebrate the International Day of Families on Saturday, May 18, 2024 with an event dubbed Family Meeting
In a statement on Monday, Eki disclosed that “under the platform of the United Nations declaration of International Day of Families, we engaged parents, students and other stakeholders in the school community to a participatory conversations on “Families, Education and Well-being, as it is essential for every society to create a supportive structure and family environment where members realize their full potential, thus creating a progressive society.”
“Likewise, to re-emphasize the role of parents in promoting the concept of family, values, diversity and respect, while creating a platform for relationship building opportunity for families.
“The conversations will be focused on sharing relatable hands on experiences and workable solutions that have been successful, which can be utilize as a toolkits for family sustainability.
“The program is scheduled to take place at the Lagos Anglican Girls’ Grammar School Hall, 19, Akinhanmi Street, Surulere, Lagos State, between the hours of 10:30 am to 2:00pm on Saturday 18th May, 2024.
“The ‘Family Meeting’ series project 2024 is an Entertainment Bus-Stop Ltd, community engagement Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, which facilitate discourse between families and facilitators towards sustainable development in the society, as we strongly, believe that Families unite when they do meaningful things together.”
A theatre arts practitioner, an alumnus of the University of Lagos, The National Institute for Cultural Orientation, Fate Foundation Entrepreneurs Business School and Harvard Law School, with work experience in the fields of entertainment spanning more than 15 years, Eki is an astute a filmmaker, playwright and project manager in the entertainment industry with records of notable events and productions to her credit.
Amongst her work, are some of most innovative television programmes and movies, including Forever, Keeping Faith, 30 Days, MTN Project Fame (Season 2).
