Nigeria U-17 team, Golden Eaglets, will resume camp on May 28, Africanfootball reports.
The team coach, Manu Garba, will be on hand to conduct an open screening and select new youngsters from various academies across the nation.
After the selection, the reigning U-17 world champions will commence preparation for the 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations with a qualification game against Niger in August.
Nigeria won the African Under-17 Championship in 2001 and 2007, and were runners-up in 1995.
They have also been dominant at the world stage, with five record FIFA U17 World Cup wins in 1985, 1993, 2007, 2013 and 2015.
Golden Eaglets’ resumption to camp was initially scheduled for May 8, but unavailability of funds in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) was a major setback.
