Pete Edochie’s son Linc, Queen Wokoma, others in Enugu for Junior Pope’s burial

Actor Linc Edochie, son of movie legend Pete Edochie, Queen Wokoma and other film practitioners have arrived in Enugu for the burial of their colleague Junior Pope.

Queen shared pictures of herself and others on her Instagram account on Friday dressed in black to pay their last respects to the deceased.

She wrote: “Here to pay our last respect to our friend and colleagues. #ripjuniorpope.”

Captioning the second set of photos she shared, the actress added: “Life happened! Legacies and memories are what is left behind. Forever in our hearts.”

Junior Pope was confirmed dead on the night of April 10 after several attempts to resuscitate him failed. The actor alongside four others drowned in Anam River on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.

The 43-year-old will be buried on Friday, May 17, at his country home in Ikpogwu, Ukehe after a burial mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe. Interment will follow immediately after the burial of the actor.

The burial arrangements will be wrapped up with a thanksgiving mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe, on May 20.
